Convert Excel to PDF
Turn a spreadsheet into a PDF table that's easy to print, email or archive. The text stays selectable and the file never leaves your device.
How it works
Each sheet of an XLSX, XLS, XLSM or ODS workbook is laid out as a table in the PDF. The text is real text, not a screenshot, so it stays sharp at any zoom and can be searched and copied. On long sheets the header row repeats at the top of every page, so page 7 is as readable as page 1.
What isn't carried over
The PDF shows your data, not your spreadsheet's design. Cell colours, borders, fonts, charts and images aren't reproduced, and formulas show their calculated values. For a pixel-faithful copy of a formatted sheet, use Excel's own Export to PDF.
Wide sheets
A page has a fixed width, so a sheet with dozens of columns gets cramped. Delete or hide columns you don't need, or split a wide table into two sheets, before converting. Tall sheets are no problem: they simply flow over more pages.
Your files stay on your device
Invoices, budgets and payroll sheets are turned into PDFs on your device, without an upload. The work happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored on a server. Once the page has loaded it keeps working offline, and it's free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Questions
Is the text in the PDF selectable?
Yes. Tables are written as real text, so you can search, select and copy it, and it prints sharply.
Does the header row repeat on each page?
Yes. When a sheet runs over several pages, the header row is repeated at the top of each one.
Will my cell colours and charts appear in the PDF?
No. The PDF contains the data as a clean table; formatting, charts and images from the workbook aren't included.
Can I combine the PDF with other documents?
Yes. Use Merge PDF to add it to a report, a Word document saved as PDF, or anything else.
