Merge PDF files
Combine several PDFs into one file, in the order you choose. Everything runs in your browser, so your documents never leave your device.
How merging works
Add two or more PDFs, drag them into the order you want, and merge. The pages of each file are copied into a new PDF one after another, exactly as they are: text stays selectable and nothing is re-rendered or recompressed.
What may not carry over
Pages, text, images and links come through unchanged. Document-level extras are a different story: bookmarks (the outline in the sidebar) and fillable form fields may not survive in the merged file, so check those if you rely on them.
Password-protected PDFs can't be opened without the password. Remove the protection in the app you normally use, then merge.
Tips
Need only some pages from one of the files? Split it first and merge just the part you need. If a scan is sideways, rotate it before merging so the final file reads the right way up. Merging doesn't shrink files: the result is roughly the size of the inputs added together.
Your files stay on your device
Contracts, statements and IDs are exactly the kind of files people merge, and none of them should have to pass through a stranger's server. The work happens in your browser, so nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored on a server. Once the page has loaded it keeps working offline, and it's free, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Questions
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
There's no fixed limit on files or pages. The practical limit is your device's memory, so merging hundreds of large scans may be slow on an older phone.
Will merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied as they are, without re-rendering, so text stays sharp and selectable and images keep their original quality.
Can I merge only some pages of a PDF?
Merge works on whole files. To use part of a PDF, extract the pages you need with Split PDF first, then merge that part with the rest.
Are my PDFs uploaded to merge them?
No. The files are read and combined by your browser on your own device. You can disconnect from the internet once the page has loaded and merging still works.
